Claire, as she listened one day to a sermon on the Gospel passage about the ten lepers. She felt deeply how Our Lord was hurt and disappointed at the lack of gratitude of 9 of the lepers He restored to health. She thought of the many people who never once think to turn to God in thanksgiving for all the blessings they have recieved. As she meditated on all this, she was inspired to begin an Order dedicated to Adoration of the Most Holy Eucharist in the spirit of reparative thanksgiving.
